Corel 7

I was trying to copy something and realized we're still out of toner.  Maybe I'll buy some someday.  I tried to scan the document so I could print it on the other one (I know I've scanned things before) but it said it needed to "run or install device" so I plugged it in again and it installed on the Mac, it still doesn't show up as a device.  Grrr.  And I can't seem to figure out the updated interface for the mac.  Why does computer stuff come so difficult for me?  (Don't say its because the last computer class I ever had was when I was 15 and learned Corel 7)  I can't even seem to find the hard drive when I plug that in.  So much for backing up pictures.
