5k

Will has wanted to run a 5k since June when we ran the trek around the trail.he did a 1k while Charlie and Carter did the 5k. Will asked for a running shirt for his birthday and has been ready to go on a run with me in the mornings to train. The farthest we ran was about 2 miles so he wasn't quite prepared but he still did great. I'm proud of him for training and for trying something hard, not to mention something I haven't even done. He had a time of 39 minutes and won second place in the boy's age group.

Will work for food

The kids have been memorizing hymns for candy. They each picked a hymn and a king sized candy bar and set to work memorizing. Will is exceptionally gifted in music and learns them in a few minutes. He really wanted a giant jaw breaker abd Jesus Once of Humble Birth

The three piggy opera

Every year the kindergarteners in our school put on a musical version of the three little pigs. It is a darling little show with cute songs, actions, a couple of solos, costumes and props.  This year Will was one of the pigs. My favorite song is the wolf's. He croons 'I want a big fat pig to eat, I want a big fat pig to eat, yummy yummy yummy yummy mmmmm good!'
