Will's sinuses are CLEAR!

After scrolling through my blog I noticed post at the beginning of the year when I said I was tired of my kids getting each other sick all the time--that still happens, however, I need to make a post devoted to Williams sinus issues, so here goes.

As evidenced by my post at the beginning of the year, Will has had a sinus infection since New Year's Eve.  We have been to the doctor numerous times, had 4 courses of antibiotics, a CT scan, and even a visit to the dentist before we finally got his poor nose to stop running.  The culprit?  Sinus infection, yes, but more importantly . . .

A RAISIN!

yep, a raisin has been stuck up my kid's nose for the past 6 months.   nice.

My cousin Ben took some pics of Brianna in our side yard garden for her 1st birthday. I LOVE them.

Afternoon at Alki Beach

Brianna decided she doesn't like the sand very much and would rather sit on the blanket and sip her water.

Kids heading toward the water

Ben snapping some pics of the kids.  Carter went from building a sand castle to digging a well.  He hoped that if he dug it deep enough and pour buckets of water into it fast enough, he would be able to make a well . . . alas, the water seeps through the sand, and a little boys dreams go with it.

Carter making a chicken/fry fajita.  He couldn't figure out why he had a plain tortilla with his nuggets and fries at the mexican restaurant.  heeehehe

Meredith and Charley at the Park.

Carter rallied all the kids at the lake that day to make a river; I think he had like 20 kids digging and carrying water!!

A few pics from Sunriver, OR

Nate and Mason going down the natural rock slide.  Carter wading in the river.

Carter is cuddling with Sam, who is his cougar of a girlfriend in that she is twice his age ;)

Hotel Parke

We've had a lot of visitors over the last month or so, and have enjoyed the company.  We had a couple family vacations mixed in, so on the whole we've been pretty busy.  First we went camping up Snoqualmie Pass where Charlie was rushed to the Urgent Care and discovered he had pneumonia.

The next week we had Charlie's youngest brother, Brett come to visit with his wife Monica.  We had a lot of fun and even got a MB ride in (all 4 of us, it was a lot of fun!).  The next week we went to Sunriver, OR with some friends and the kids had fun feeding the animals and watching the deer.

About an hour after we got back my cousin Ben and his family came for a visit which was loads of fun!  Ben and Charlie went MB a few times and Meredith and I had some crafty sewing projects.

The day after Ben and Meredith left, Scott and Katie came for about a week.  They were here for the 4th of July and we had fun palling around and letting the kids play together.

We are now accepting reservations for the rest of the year, the guest room fills up quickly, so call now!!
