I made this baby carrier all by myself!  I'm so awesome!  I used the straps from one of Charlie's old backpacks and some bottomweight.  I recommend using webbing without elastic for the bottom strap.  I'm going to have to re-vamp it a little.  She even has a hood for nap time.

Charlie's parents are here for an extended weekend.  We took the kids to walk the trail and throw rocks in the lake, it was a lot of fun.

Brianna

I couldn't help taking a little photo shoot of Brianna.  I think her eyes are so pretty. I know I'm biased, but I think every parent is allowed to think their baby is the cutest thing in the whole wide world.  (No, I did not adjust the color of her eyes or add fake eyelashes.)

Chef's hat and apron

I recently had to make a night cap for a relief society function so when I was done, I took it apart and made a chef's hat for Carter.  He loves it and it was sooo easy.  There is a tutorial on Joann.com under projects.   They used gathers for the hat but I like the pleats better.  The top photo is a close up of the decorative top stitching.  Charlie thought it made it look girly.  Oh well.  I put a button hole in the top of the apron for the tie just because I wanted to try a button hole.
