Charlie has a new job!

Charlie started a new job with T-Mobile this week.  He's in charge of marketing and promotions for all data cards and similar type stuff for t-mo.  This is quite different from what he did at the last stint but we're all glad he's moving on.  This job is listed as 0% travel but even if he does travel anything is better than the last year where Charlie went to China 14 times in one year.  That doesn't include the trips to Germany, Spain or Dallas either.  While he was transitioning jobs we spent a week in Utah and visited lots of grandparents and great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

They boys loved the greenhouse and probably bothered the workers a little too much.  They loved making soil and flats and running the machines.  Charlie was a bit bored so he teased Adam and rode on the 4-wheeler.  Brianna labeled flats and stomped in puddles and Carter got to go on a delivery with Papa.

I was impressed with Brianna's willingness to be affectionate with so many people she probably doesn't even remember.  She sat and rocked with Grandma Schramm and willingly gave hugs to Grandma Judy and Grandpa Ted and Grandpa Lund when the other kids were anxious and shy.  We played with legos a lot and Charlie and I went out to dinner a lot with the family who were working during the day. Bonnie's baby was content to stay in instead of coming before the due date and I think she was disappointed.  We saw Tom's new house and admired the hard work he's put into it and got better acquainted with Melissa, Katie's baby.  I got to see some of my cousins that I hadn't seen in about a decade and met up with Ben and Meredith at a children's museum in Salt Lake.  The museum was so crowded that we didn't get to chat much but I was still glad to see them.  The boys had a sleep over at Grandpa John's house and they played with the tank and danced a bit.  It was a fun trip.

William's sinuses round 2

Two years ago Will had chronic sinus issues that were cured by pulling a raisin out of the upper reaches of his nostril.  I wish it were that easy this time.   Once again he's had multiple trips to the doctor's office doses of antibiotics and a CT but this time we have to wait it out.

Silly boy won 10 out of 11 games against Mommy!

He first got sick in December and, I feel, has not made any significant recovery in that time.  The amount of snorting this kid does is crazy.  He sounds congested and says he's stuffy but the doctor says it isn't allergies.  He had an ear infection a couple of weeks ago and cured that but the snorting persisted.  I had a room full of women and all of them were shocked at the reverberation produced from that little nose.  They thought he was flicking a door stopper.  You know, the coil type near the baseboards that make that twangy coil noise.  Yep.  He snorts every 5 or 10 minutes except when he's at the doctor's office.  The Doctor says he has just had back to back colds and the only thing I can do is wait for spring.
