Afternoon at Alki BeachBrianna decided she doesn't like the sand very much and would rather sit on the blanket and sip her water.
Ben snapping some pics of the kids. Carter went from building a sand castle to digging a well. He hoped that if he dug it deep enough and pour buckets of water into it fast enough, he would be able to make a well . . . alas, the water seeps through the sand, and a little boys dreams go with it.

Carter rallied all the kids at the lake that day to make a river; I think he had like 20 kids digging and carrying water!!
